What is Kino no Tabi?

Kino no Tabi -the Beautiful World-, known simply as Kino no Tabi or Kino's Journey in english, is a series about a nomad named Kino going on a journey around a mystic world, accompanied by their "mottarad" named Hermes.

Their world is divided into different "lands", each usually themed around their names. On Kino's travels, they spend about three days and two nights in every town before leaving, explaining that three days is enough time to learn everything important about a place, while leaving time to explore.
